Please join us for a free workshop aimed at parents, carers and families of children from Preschool to Year 6.
Learn how to shift from a reactive to a proactive approach with your child – to resist the urge to jump in and ‘fix’ their problems by creating an environment where children have the opportunity to make mistakes, learn from them and flourish!
We look at the strengths of the child and how families can best nurture those abilities:
- Strategies for building resilience and coping skills
- Ideas to develop “mentally fit“ children
- Building a growth mindset at home
Presented by Jeanie McDonnell As Family Liaison Officer for St John the Apostle and a member of the Diocesan Parent Education Team, Jeanie delivers parenting workshops such as The Resilient Child, Social and Emotional Learning and 1-2-3 Magic and Emotion Coaching across Northern Beaches schools.
|Date:||Tuesday 27th August|
|Location:||The School Hall, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School|
