As a proudly Catholic school, our mission is to educate and form young people as disciples of Jesus, with strong support from our families and parish community.
At Sacred Heart, students are given meaningful opportunities to follow Jesus and grow as active members of the Catholic community. Discipleship is woven into every aspect of school life. Whether participating in cultural, artistic, sporting, academic, or social justice activities, students are encouraged to deepen their faith and develop a Catholic perspective that shapes their understanding of the world.
Student Engagement
Our students are encouraged to participate in Parish life through engagement and in practical terms.
Social Justice
We believe in demonstrating how valuable charitable works can contribute to those less fortunate than ourselves and we provide a number of opportunities for students to be engaged. Examples of events held are:
- Fundraising for Caritas during Lent;
- Collecting food items for the St Vinnies Christmas Hamper Appeal;
Altar Service
Students are encouraged to become Altar Servers for our Parish. This is a very rewarding and reverent duty available to any students who have completed their sacraments. Our Religious Education Coordinator can assist you with information and the school liaises with the Parish for Altar Service training each year.
